I n h o m e p r o j e c t s
Allow me to help you create a lovely, developmentally appropriate environment that addresses the holistic needs of the young child. Some examples of what this might look like include:
Have you or someone you know decided to homeschool your children? Are you interested in incorporating the Montessori Method into your program? I am available for consultations and workshops for homeschooling families and communities.
Designing a Space
This will allow you to implement Montessori principles within the home (especially, the common areas). I will assist you in creating a space that promotes independence and allows your child to participate in the daily life of the home. In addition to consultations, this can include product selection, information and resources, assistance with the organization of the room, and ongoing support.
Your Child's Room
Let’s discuss your visions and hopes for your child's room and work together to make it a reality. Through a combination of in-home consultations, email, and phone assistance, I can help you design a plan, assist with the purchasing of materials according to your family’s needs and budget and organize the room to promote optimal development.
What People Are Saying...
"We were fortunate enough to have Ms. Razan Abdin come into our lives as an educator. Our daughter was in a Montessori classroom instructed by Ms. Abdin. Even though our daughter was new to the Montessori Method. Razan was able to make her transition into the classroom a seamless and positive one. Our daughter struggles with impulse control and we were very concerned about how she would behave in a classroom setting. To our delight, she began to flourish as a student and through the school year. As the school year progressed, we were able to get to know Razan on a personal level. Her desire for equality and social justice are really inspiring to me and it has encouraged my family and me to do more for our community. I believe that it is this love for our community that drives her to try and influence the next generation to think outside of the box and be amazing humans. Even though our daughter is almost half way through first grade and no longer has Ms. Abdin as her educator, I believe that she is who helped to build her confidence to succeed (and excel) in first grade. Ms. Abdin will certainly never be a “forgotten” teacher name. She is a trusted educator, friend, and caretaker. We are so thankful that she came into our lives and I look forward to see all of the exciting things that she will do in the future. Our community is lucky to have her!"
